My journey as an architect began with a curiosity for how spaces can shape our experiences. With that passion, I pursued my Bachelor’s degree at Chitkara University, India, and later ventured into research at Tokyo University of Science, where I explored the role of water management in the evolution of urban settlements. It was here that I truly understood the intricate relationship between design and functionality, fueling my desire to bring clarity and simplicity into architectural presentations.

This passion led me to create @art.ikki, a platform where I combine my love for architecture with my enthusiasm for digital illustration. What started as an exploration of 2D and 3D design has since grown into a thriving community. Through my online courses and content, I’ve empowered students worldwide to transform abstract ideas into powerful visual representations, using tools like Photoshop, After Effects, Morpholio Trace, Rayon, SketchUp, and Procreate.

Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with brands that align with my creative vision, such as Morpholio, Archivinci, Codesign, Enviz, and uMake. One highlight of this journey was seeing my Morpholio Trace illustration featured in Apple stores across the globe- an unexpected yet thrilling milestone! In India, I’ve worked with notable architectural firms such as Devallum, Studio Built Environment, and Terra Design House, applying my skills in digital illustration to bring their projects to life.

Perhaps one of the most fulfilling parts of my career has been merging my love for design with education. I created a SketchUp course in partnership with Domestika, a renowned platform in Spain, to share my insights with aspiring architects and interior designers. Each lesson is a step towards helping others visualize their architectural dreams with the same excitement that drew me to the field.

I had the unique opportunity to teach at an architectural sketching retreat alongside 50 instructors from around the globe, focusing on sketching and drawing techniques. This experience was a testament to my love for sharing knowledge and connecting with other creative minds, reaffirming my commitment to education and collaboration.
